The 2016 Whitman Baltimore Winter Expo is almost here, and as the anticipation builds, we’re looking forward to the latest Stack’s Bowers Galleries auctions, which will include three different auctions of US coins and paper money, and a special auction held in conjunction with the annual Colonial Coin Collectors Club convention.
At the upcoming Baltimore Winter Expo, Stack’s Bowers has some wonderful coins in store for our auction goers. And one of the highlights, presented in cooperation with the Colonial Coin Collectors Club, is an incredible Choice Mint State 1787 Massachusetts cent.
In 2010, Stack’s Bowers Galleries had the distinct pleasure of presenting for sale this unique collection of gold Abraham Lincoln medals. The set was once the property of Louis E. Eliasberg, Sr., and was highly prized in his renowned collection that also included many of the most significant American and world coins in existence.
Stack’s Bowers is delighted to once again offer this incredible medal set as part of their Official Auction of the 2016 Baltimore Whitman Expo.
Stack’s Bowers Galleries will be offering another fabulous series of auctions in November at the Baltimore Whitman Expo, which will include the Anderson Gleckler Collection, with nearly 300 varieties of Connecticut coppers.

Another Stack’s Bowers Galleries auction at the Whitman Coin & Collectibles Baltimore Expo is now in the history books, with a huge showing at 2016 Spring Expo. When the gavel fell for the final time, the total prices realized were well above pre-auction estimates, with more than $13.5 million in sales!
